Wednesday morning, we walked the 5 minute walk from our Pousada to Casa Dom Ignacio, our requests in hand and eager to greet John and which ever Entities were present. The English speaking orientation the evening before had been only lightly attended and we wondered if the numbers would also be light as the Casa began its week. They weren’t. If anything, there were more people from a variety of countries than we’d ever seen before. We heard many European languages as well as Russian and some I couldn’t recognize. Settling into Abadiania – John of God December 2011
Before the day was half way over, I knew this: all plans are subject to change. As much as I wanted to visit the Sacred Waterfall and be bathed in the magical waters there, neither the weather nor my body were conspiring to make it so. As the clouds rolled and the thunder boomed and my body felt much more like sitting still than hiking, I realized (again) that every experience is unique, and the power of the experience has to come from the willingness to listen and follow the quiet, inner voice of Guidance. Long story short – I spent the afternoon meditating instead of going to the Sacred Waterfall. It is what it is, and it will be what it will be. I trust the layers of this new mantra to unfurl and blossom for me through the trip as I discover the uniqueness of “this” journey.
Tonight, we’ll attend the Orientation. While it will be my third, I’ve learned not to expect the same experience; >) And I’m “learning” to be open to the fresh moment. Tomorrow, we greet John of God – however that happens. Stay tuned…
Arriving in Abadiania – John of God December 2011
It feels like coming home. The land is verdant green along the highway; it is late spring in Brazil. As we drive, I recognize the markers along the highway as we draw near. But, even more, I feel the energies shift a half hour away. It feels like coming home.

Abadiania, I’m On My Way – John of God
It’s less than three weeks now until I head for the highlands of Brazil and another immersion into The Casa de Dom Ignacio where John of God translates the healing energies of multiple entities. This will be my third visit this year, and I am eager!
In the first two visits, I was blessed with profound spiritual experiences that helped me shift and open to healing on many levels. On the physical level (where the low hanging fruit is one Casa guide told us), the injuries to my spine – both from two fractured vertebrae and a high speed car accident many years ago – show the most significant difference as I note from each trip, the nerve pain is less and less and my general flexibility in movement is more and more. John of God Update
It was a month ago, today, that the psychic stitches were removed from my spiritual surgery (see John of God Vlog – Day 10). I am 5 days from the completion of the 40 day post surgery process; it takes 40 days for the results of the spiritual intervention to fully ‘land’. And this is my update…
The experience in February, as I mentioned before, was very energetic; and the post 40 day process more an emotional process than a physical one. I did, though, experience a reduction of insulin requirements while I was in Abadiania and felt a significant relief from back pain. In this more recent journey – June, 2011 – my integration of the energies and the assistance from the Entities is far more physical in nature. Continue reading “John of God Update”
John of God Vlog – Final Day
One last Current room. One last Crystal Bath. One last hike to the Waterfall. One last pizza. One last Chai… that’s been the mantra today.
I am watching an huge orange moon rise as I type. Even the moon seems a little more special in Abadiania. I read a poem once:
They built their nest in the rafters of my heart; those sparrows that you lost.
John of God Vlog – Day 10; Celebration Preparations
Today, for the first time, I felt like I might be right at the edge of the amount of energy I could absorb and integrate. After the fourth hour long crystal bath and 7th visit to the Sacred Waterfall (in a row), I thought I might be “done”… but I’m rallying; >)
Tomorrow is our final day this trip, and I’m going to take it the distance: Current room in the morning, crystal bath and Sacred Waterfall in the afternoon. Long nap afterward:PI have a feeling that – once I get home and actually rest for a few days – I’m going to feel in better health than ever before.
Alan and I went exploring a pousada that wants to work with me today; that was a fun adventure. What is more fun than a new adventure? I’m not sure, but I’m willing to pursue the question further; >)
I learned a new word in Portuguese today: Bonita. I means beautiful:)

John of God Vlog – Day 9; Full Moon Day
We were up with the sun again today and over to The Casa for the first day of the 3 day cycle with John of God. Today, we sat in the Current Room for the first session. The Current Room is for meditating and holding the vibrational frequency steady to assist John of God and the Entities. As well, everyone in the lines passes through the Current Room before engaging with the Entities through John of God so it is a space for cleansing the energetic debris we take on in our day to day lives. The meditation lasts for between 3 and 4 hours. It is a service to The Casa to join the Current room.

John of God Vlog – Day 8; The Energies Build
Today at dinner, I heard people speaking German at one table and French at another. A person went by on a bicycle speaking with an English accent. Abadiania became an international hub overnight it seems. Buses are bringing in groups of people as the moon builds to full, and the hum that is always in the air in Abadiania plays as a backdrop now to the voices that fill the town.
Tomorrow begins another cycle in The Casa with John of God. We will sit in the Current room and meditate through the first session. I’ve done this once before and experienced a series of unusual sensations along my spine. I read and hear from others that the Entities are present and often do healings during the meditation. I am willing. I am also willing to support the healing of others as they engage with John of God and the Entities. I am willing.
