Letting Go With Love – Awakening

hooponopono, awakening, law of attractionMy new mantra – letting go with love.  Awakening through letting go.

Letting go isn’t new.  One way or another, we are in the process of letting go of something all the time, I think.  Whether it is a physical transition through age or an emotional release associated to a change or finding a way to evolve a belief toward more fulfillment, letting go of “what was” has been a precursor to the new state of Being from the moment we left the womb.  I’ve known that for a long time.

What I didn’t know… what is new to me in realizing how letting go supports awakening consciousness… is that releasing 100% is the key to allowing the new paradigm to shift into being.  To let go fully, with no residual attachments, is the moment of magic — a timeless state between — when empty has the opportunity to be full of Source, full of love.

Most of us don’t realize how much residual attachment we carry within our energy fields.  We move on, thinking we’ve let go.  Not aware of the feelings and thoughts that still cling to the event, the relationship, the values and beliefs that travel with us through life like a trailing net of energetic knots attached — and not letting go.  Thinking we are reaching into a new experience while actually pulling the past with us into every encounter.  Not really – ever – fully letting go.

I know I wasn’t conscious of of how much of my past I carried in my energy field until I visited John of God for the first time in February, 2011.  My experiences there opened my awareness and lifted a veil that revealed both the need and power of releasing some long held residual attachments.  Awakening into the understanding isn’t the same as actually releasing the attachments, of course.  It is, however, the spark that ignites the intention to action.

awakening, hooponopono, law of attractionThe intention, it seems, is enough. (see: Law of Attraction Clarified — Introducing Law of Intention)  After that, Life will bring the situations and encounters that evoke the opportunities to release the residual attachments.  It’s always a choice.  The opportunity to fully realize that empty state that fills with the love of Source.

It is truly a magical moment.  Timeless and potent — both eternal and fleeting — when the letting go is love.  All storylines melt in the radiance of love.  All opinions evaporate in the relevance of love.  All feelings resonate with the understanding of love.  When we let go with love, we awaken into All That Is.  All We Are.  Grace.

To live in this perpetual state of Being Love is another way of saying: Awake.

As of yet, I haven’t found the bottom of my letting go cup.  I’m not sure I ever will, and I believe it may not matter.  It may only matter that, time and time again, I welcome Great Spirit into the residual attachments as I find them and let love be their transformation, letting awake be the choice for love.

I have a new mantra these days.

I love you.  Thank you.

    1. That’s the million dollar question, I think 😛

For me, there are clues… like:
Am I still thinking about it?
Am I feeling like certain scenarios keep repeating in my life?
Do I still feel upset/anxious/hurt/angry when I think about it?

I do my best not to put too much emphasis on how long it takes to clear a particular residual attachment. I just take note and do a letting go process (Ho’oponopono works well for me as well as meditation and prayer.)

I think that, perhaps, part of really letting go with love is to let ourselves off the hook about whether we’ve really let it go or not and just keep opening to more love. Paradoxical, I know… but that’s how I roll; >) Make sense?

  1. Thanks Ahnalira, I think that’s a good answer. As with so many spiritual learnings, it just seems to take practice and a good sense of balance — kind of like walking a balancing beam. I guess I’ll just keep practicing, like a little kid learning how to ride a bicycle.

    1. Happy day, Tammy-Lynn
It sounds like you are well on your path, and we are all in this together, right? Hopefully, the variety of articles I’ve written will be of help, but if you want to submit a particular question I’ll give thought to an article on that topic. There is a link at the top of the page for article requests 😀
      Blessings,
      Ahnalira

  3. Hi Ahnalira thank you so much for writting back to me, yes I do have a patricular question for you. How do I let go of my thoughts and everything I have believed in order to fully awaken my inner divine self? I know deep within my heart that we are meant to awaken our inner divine selves to guide us on our journey to enlightenment. So we can asended to the New Earth.

    1. This is an important question, I believe, Tammy! In order to allow an evolution into something new, it’s necessary to soften/dissolve our beliefs and attitudes so that can evolve. To keep the flow of our thoughts open and fresh requires a “clearing” of old patterns.

For me, the process of ho’oponopono is very helpful. I’ve written several articles about it (You can find them under the category Ho’oponopono), and I created a meditation set called Align Within based on the Ho’oponopono process. You can find out more about that on this page: http://www.ahnalira-connectedcounsel.com/cds/align-within-guided-meditations-by-ahnalira-cd/
They are available as Apps as well.
