Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly. Here is where butterflies gather to evolve.
If your arms are too long, then are the legs too short?
Or do you keep hands in pocket and act nonchalant?
Or become a trapeze artist where arms are an asset?
Choices.
So many of them – each a brick in the foundation of an attitude.
Once I was so confused, I flipped a coin, and it said:
Surrender.
The bricks crumbled, adn the wall tumbled.
On the other side of an attitude I found Being.
“Now I Am,” say the arms, “Life is too short.”
The grass is growing again. Flowers blossom at every turn; their fragrance a reminder that we are in the Season of fresh starts and new beginnings.
Nature provides the gift of Winter where the chill slows the patterns of growth to their dormancy, and sleep allows a stasis that suspends and clears the previous Season’s effort away. Nature evokes the ‘death’ that fosters new life. New beginnings and fresh starts.
In our evolution as human beings, we are given the gift of a new beginning with each birth. Then, as we develop through the stages of Life, it becomes one of the opportunities/challenges of our evolution to learn how to integrate experience in such a way that we can stay fresh in our aliveness. Peel away the layers of opinion. Wipe away the distortions of the personality that settle like grime on glass. Take away the defensive stances and declarations for limitation. Release the impulse to hide behind any of it.

I was chatting with a friend recently about something he would like to experience. I asked him if he had taken any steps to make it happen, and he replied, “If it is mine, it will come to me.”
As he spoke, I watched his demeanor; and I felt the relaxed position of his mind and body. I saw the ease in him as he acknowledged both the desire and the willingness to trust in a greater orchestration. I was touched by Grace in his simple declaration. When I went to Abadiania, Brazil to experience John of God in early February, 2011, it was my first visit. I was prepared for the culture shock of being in another country. I was ‘abstractly’ prepared for the idea of what psychic surgery is. I was even relatively prepared to let whatever happened change me in positive ways.
I had no construct for how the journey would continue 40 days past the day of psychic surgery. I understood that I was to abstain from certain foods, alcohol, and sexuality for 40 days in order that the healing could ‘settle in’ and integrate. I accepted the instructions that I was to wait 40 days before evaluating results…
I am 24 days days into what I now realize is a process, and I am realizing just how small my understanding was.
As close as I can come to describing this experience is to say the surgery was like being dropped into ocean of Light and instructed to let Light’s current bring me to shore… I’ve been in the Deep Blue to swim with dolphins; there is a certain amount of trust in a beneficient Universe required for land-dwellers to swim where there is no evidence of land… but there is a boat within sight always… Continue reading “John of God – The Process Continues”
The deeper I go within, the more benefit I find in replacing the past with Love.
The more I disengage with the circumstance of my Life as the cause of how I feel, the more I discover repeating patterns in the stories I use to explain my feelings. I find that the “justified offense” I’ve taken from someone in my current circle is exactly the same feeling I felt many years ago in a similar situation. And, perhaps even more relevant, when I remove both people from the story I am left with the same sadness. The only constant is me.

This version is what happens when a Jungian therapist/Meditation teacher who studies law of attraction decides she wants to fit the practice of Ho’oponopono into her daily ‘western civilization’ Life. It’s only recently that I come to know of John of God; a friend saw him on Oprah and invited me to come with her to experience the healing vibe at his Casa in Brazil. I googled him.. and watched a dozen videos.
Fascinating! I couldn’t quite wrap my mind around the ‘physical’ surgeries, but – in theory – the nonphysical interventions all made sense to me. Having no experience in this medium (pun intended; >), I was drawn to the adventure of it all. I was willing to experience my own small miracle in however it showed up. I accepted the invitation.
I read more articles on the Internet and became even more fascinated. I took the steps of securing visas and flights and a place to stay; each step increasing my commitment. Each step a declaration of both intention and hope.
I pondered what I would bring to the table for John of God and the Entities to clarify and restore to Well-being.
