Love is an intangible. Elusive to define. Is Love the cloud passing through the sky, at the whim of winds and moisture and other circumstance? Or is love the sky?
The effects of love are more concrete. Optimism and hopefulness attend the presence of love. Love evokes appreciation… and, perhaps, appreciation evokes love. Where there is love, it is easier to laugh and relax and enjoy the moment just as it is.
Can you imagine a moment when you felt love flowing through you for someone or something? Imagine feeling like that about everyone and everything. When love flows, appreciation and wellbeing are always present. Imagine living a Life of love….
Every tree I meet loves me. The animals around me look to me with adoration in their eyes. I smile, and the world smiles back at me. When I face a challenge, I face it with optimism and faith in the benevolent Universe that loves me. When I feel frustrated or irritated, I love myself in my imperfection; I can still love others in theirs. When my body falters, I take care of Her; I nurture rather than judge.
When love flows, every experience is an adventure. An opportunity to explore more facets of love. There is joy in each discovery and an eager playfulness flavors every twist and turn with spontaneity and humor. Where love flows, there is abiding Grace; and Life feels connected through a radiant, pervasive Well-Being.
When love flows, it is clear: Love is the cloud and the sky. I am coming to understand how – moment to moment – I can choose to let love flow. I am coming to understand I can choose to be love. And I am the cloud and the sky. When love flows.
