John of God – Psychic Surgery Experience

I came, dressed all in white, and joined the hundreds of people for the afternoon session.  We were led in prayer; each of us speaking our language of choice, creating a hum of voices.  Then a lovely woman sang “What a Beautiful World” in English to the group.  I was excited and eager, but I was also calm and content to follow whatever pattern was set by the Casa staff for me.

The Surgery Line was called, and we moved – again – through the two Current Rooms into a smaller room at the far end.  Anyone who wanted a “physical surgery” was asked to volunteer (I was not one of them), and they were taken into the larger meeting room where surgery was performed for those who wanted to watch (Again, I was not one of them, either; >)  I sat on my bench, meditating…  wondering how I would know when it happened.

It was apparent.  And it came in three passes.  The first looked – in my mind’s eye – like an orb of light sending off concentric ripples.  It became larger, seemingly moving towards me, and then I felt the pass through me like I was a water balloon that was flattened by pressure and then bounced back to its original shape.  The second pass came from upper left to lower right a solid sheet of light; I felt myself stabilized and deeply grounded.  There was, perhaps, 10 minutes between each pass.  The third pass rocked my world!  It came from upper right to lower left, and I felt like I was in a gyroscope – as if everything in my body/mind moved and shifted slightly out of its usual pattern.  Then it was done.

They had us up and out of the room almost immediately.  I felt alert, though ‘floaty’, and I had no desire to get anywhere ‘fast’.  We were given a post-surgery orientation where it was explained how important it was now to return to our rooms and remain quiet and at rest for the next 24 hours as the psychic surgery would continue within our Beings for that time.  I was put in a taxi – even though my Pousada was a block from the Casa – to ensure that I stayed in a restful state.

I was happy to comply; whenever I closed my eyes I saw marvelous light shows and felt them passing through me.  The idea of resting into the experience felt perfect.
