John of God – Abadiania Adventure June 2012, days 8 and 9

John of God, Abadiania, Casa Dom InacioThe Casa was overflowing yesterday morning…  easily two thousand people — many locals — come to make requests of John of God and the entities.  It is a certain type of spiritual practice to wait, I’ve decided, especially in very crowded rooms.  Again, my appreciation to the volunteers who are unendingly patient as they attempt to keep aisles clear and voices quiet.

When my time came to go before Medium Joao, he met my gaze and gently declared, “Operation.”

“Obrigada, ” I replied, and he nodded and smiled from his eyes. Continue reading “John of God – Abadiania Adventure June 2012, days 8 and 9”

John of God – Abadiania Adventure June 2012, day 7

John of God, spiritual awakeningThe breeze is crisp, and the moon is full.  People are arriving today as the Casa sessions with John of God begin tomorrow.  There is anticipation in the air.

We began our day with Crystal Baths.  For Alan, it was a gentle experience as he relaxed and floated and felt pressures periodically in his head and temples… opening further that already giant mind.  For me, again, the Crystal Bath was mildly uncomfortable — this time in my solar plexus and thymus center.  Afterward, my digestive tract felt very tender and sensitive, and I’ve eaten only fruit and juices for most of the day.  Clearing is part of the healing/awakening process.  I remind myself as I move slowly and softly through the day 😛  I am willing. John of God – Abadiania Adventure June 2012, day 5

Casa Dom Inacio, John of God, spiritual awakeningI slept through the night last night…first time since the accident on May 20th.  Sweet sleep!  To awaken gently to sounds of birds singing, body soft and relaxed – this is what “slept like a baby” must mean.  Thank you, John of God and the entities!

Today, is Sunday.  In Abadiania, that means a day of quiet and reflection as all of the businesses close and only the Casa is open its gates for contemplation and Sunday morning services.  For us, it means a gentle day of continued immersion in the weave of energies.

We made our way to the Casa to place prayers in the prayer basket and make a small video clip to share with everyone a “feel” for our Sunday.  Enjoy!

John of God – Abadiania Adventure, June 2012, days 3 and 4

John of God, spiritual healing, AbadianiaOur first spiritual surgery together – How romantic!  Well, mainly… just stretch your mind to imagine how sharing the healing energies for twenty four hours, in a small room — mainly in a trance-like state without talking — can promote that feeling of Oneness 😛

As spiritual surgeries go, this was a gentle experience. Continue reading “John of God – Abadiania Adventure, June 2012, days 3 and 4”

Abadiania Adventure, June 2012…day 2 – John of God

My partner, Alan, had another instanteous healing!  You may recall that, during our last visit, he had an experience during meditation in the current room that felt to him like a spasming at the base of his neck and resulted in the re-alignment of a “vertebral bump” that he’d had since childhood. (By the way, it’s still aligned six months later.)  Here’s what happened this time… Continue reading “Abadiania Adventure, June 2012…day 2 – John of God”

Abadiania Adventure, June 2012 – John of God

John of God, Casa Dom Inacio, spiritual healingHere we are! In Frutti’s, sipping our spicy chai lattes and congratulating ourselves on having arrived.  I confess – it seemed at times (from my prone position on the lazyboy) an unreachable goal.  From the horse-riding accident that precipitated the postponement of the first schedule to the “forever” time it takes fractures and herniated discs to heal, I just wasn’t sure how I was going to manage the long day of travel… not to mention the day of preparation and packing.  But we did 😀  And, from the moment we touched ground in Brazilia, I felt a calm, peaceful sense of rightness that we’d made the effort.  As we rode through the Brazilian countryside, I floated on the sights and sounds and smells – familar now – and counted the blessings that got me to South America.

That’s not to say I wasn’t sore.  I was.  Not as sore as I was right after the accident, I’m happy to say.  Just sore enough to be grateful for the wheelchairs in the airport…  Picture me gliding through airport terminals, wind in my hair and waving to all the walkers ; >) Continue reading “Abadiania Adventure, June 2012 – John of God”

Abadiania, Here I Come – John of God

Two weeks ago, I planned to be in flight to Abadiania, Brazil today to immerse myself in the healing currents of Casa Dom Ignacio and Medium Joao (better known as John of God here in the US; >)  Two weeks ago, I was making packing lists, reflecting with gratitude upon the vast well-being I’ve already received from my visits to Abadiania, and meditating upon what is next for me on this adventure of awakening into All I Am with the help of the Entities.  I was finishing up my last set of herbs from the previous spiritual surgeries in December, 2011, and observing the shifts of consciousness in both my body and mind as I prepared.  That was two weeks ago. Three Visits to John of God – A Pictoral Documentation

John of God, Abadiania, Casa Dom Ignacio, spiritual healingIn 2011, I visited John of God at Casa Dom Ignacio in Abadiania, Brazil three times – for 1 week in February, 12 days in June, and 12 Days in December.  Overall, I participated in the Current room, experienced the Crystal Beds and Sacred Waterfall in addition to the 5 spiritual surgeries I received.  All of these visits have blog and vlog entries on this site (see the John of God category in the column to the right).  I thought it would be interesting, though — in preparation for my next visit in June, 2012 — to put a few pictures up from these previous visits to document the visible changes.  What can I say?  My idea of a good time; >)

So, let’s begin with February, 2011.  I went for one week.  It was a spur of the moment trip made primarily to support a friend who was healing from a cancer surgery.  I didn’t really know much about Medium Joao or Casa Dom Ignacio — just that I was willing to experience and benefit from whatever happened. 40 Days Done – John of God

John of God, Medium Joao, Casa Dom IgnacioAccording to the protocols at Casa Dom Ignacio, today marks the end of the 40 day post-spiritual surgery phase.  Now, it is time to take stock and assess my John of God experience.

The first question I asked myself:  Have I ever witnessed anyone having a “miraculous” physical healing experience in Abadiania? (I pondered this question because, for me, the process has proven incremental and more like the peeling away of layers than anything that could be considered instantaneous).  I asked myself this question, expecting the answer to be no.  But I surprised myself – I did witness one on this last trip in December.  My partner, Alan, was prescribed the energetically charged herbs the one time he went before Medium Joao at the beginning of our experience.  He spent the rest of his Casa days meditating in the Current room – no spiritual surgery for him at all.  After the first day of meditation, he mentioned that he felt a lot of pain in his neck through the experience.  He pointed to where the pain had been and I immediately noted that a bump (fairly large) he’d had in his spinal column at the base of his neck for as long as I’d known him – and probably since he’d had spinal meningitis as a young child – was gone.  His spine was totally smooth and aligned… and has been that way since.

I think that qualifies as an instantaneous (aka miraculous) result.

John of God, Medium Joao, spiritual healingBut, like I said, for me it’s been different.  Perhaps because in the almost 59 years I’ve been blessed with this body, I’ve adventured mightily and let Life take its toll – Hepatitus C found me while I was a street-kid, type 1 Diabetes in the aftermath of a high speed head-on automobile accident, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis came on the heels of a diabetic coma, two fractured vertebrae in a horse riding accident, and the multiple physical complications from all of the above just to mention the highlights.  Some might say I’ve managed to stay alive this long on will and spiritual intervention (see:  When I Died – A Story of Awakening).

And, as they say at Casa Dom Ignacio, the physical conditions are the “low hanging fruits”.  The emotional traumas of childhood and an adolescence lived on the streets left their markers as well. Continue reading “40 Days Done – John of God”

Sacred Waterfall, Day 8 – John of God

We did it!  We made it to the Sacred Waterfall today, and as soon as my feet touched the path down to waters, I felt the energy.  And it was SO welcoming!  It was like coming “home” to the place where all that exists is verdant green love.  If there weren’t a sign at the beginning of the path that asked for silence, I would have burst into song:) Continue reading “Sacred Waterfall, Day 8 – John of God”
